Applying for a place in our 'Caterpillars' Nursery (Age 3 - 4)

How to Apply

Parents may apply for a place in our Nursery via the school.

Children can join our Nursery from the September after their 3rd birthday.

You will need to complete an application form to apply for a place.

Due to a high demand we are now full and the waiting list is closed for September 2024.

We are now taking forms for September 2025 & 2026.

The options for applying are listed below:

1)  Download the application form (see below):

You can complete the form as a Word document, save it and then email it  to: office@avenue.leicester.sch.uk

Or complete the form by hand and return by post to: Avenue Primary School, Avenue Road Extension, Clarendon Park, Leicester  LE2 3EJ.

or

2)  Visit the school to pick up and complete the form in person.

Please note: We do not post out application forms due to postage costs.

Please complete all sections of the application form, including whether you wish for your child to attend for 15 hours or 30 hours per week.

To be eligible for 30 hours funding both parents must be working a minimum of 16 hours per week to qualify. For lone parent households, please note the 16 hour rule still applies.
