Home Learning

We believe home learning should:

  • Develop an effective partnership between school and parents/carers
  • Consolidate, reinforce and extend skills and understanding across the curriculum
  • Exploit resources of learning, of all kinds, at home
  • Encourage pupils to develop confidence, self-discipline and motivation to study on their own
  • Help prepare older children for the requirements of secondary school
