Safeguarding

Avenue Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  We ensure that consistent, effective safeguarding procedures are in place to support families, children and staff at school.  We follow the procedures set out in our Safeguarding and Child Protection policy and guidelines.

Online Safety

In order to support parents with online safety and to safeguard our children, we send out guides from the National Online Safety every month on different areas of online safety, such as gaming and social media.

These guides are updated regularly and can be found at:

The NSPCC also has some very useful information for parents and carers about how to protect your child when they are online.
