How do we support pupils in their social, emotional and mental development?
Across the school, Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural development (SMSC) is built into learning. This may be in the form of verbal sessions, written work or quiet reflections.
As a school we provide children with the chance to reflect on their progress and explore their thoughts. We have weekly collective worship sessions in classes that are related to learning or current events.
More specifically we have several interventions that target social, emotional and mental well-being for pupils with SEND.
