  • Environmental ‘Car Free’ Day

    Tue 06 Oct 2020

We are encouraging all children and adults to choose an environmentally friendly method to travel to school. Walking to school has many health benefits and helps to reduce the pollution around our school as well as improve safety outside the school gates.

As part of this day children can wear ‘Fancy dress’ footwear to school and bring a £1 donation for Living Streets charity. (Children should not wear high heels, open toes/back sandals)

On the day we will once again be collecting used shoes for the charity, Shoes for Africa. Please bring any donations of clean pairs of shoes in a plastic bag to the school gate, on the day, either sending them with your child in the morning or bringing them when you pick your child up.
